Mighty Men of Valor: Prostate Cancer Screening Day

📅 Saturday, April 12, 2025 | 10 AM – 2 PMOur Men’s Ministry is taking an active stance in promoting the health and wellness of our brothers. On Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM, we invite all men over 40 to attend a free prostate cancer screening right here at First Baptist.

Why is this so important?Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting men, but early detection saves lives. Studies show that when prostate cancer is found early, the survival rate is nearly 100%. However, many men delay or avoid screenings out of fear or lack of information. We are committed to breaking that cycle by providing free and accessible screenings to protect the health of our community.

For Survivors: Encourage a BrotherIf you’re a survivor, your story can save a life. We encourage survivors to come and bring a brother along. Let’s stand together, not only in faith but also in our commitment to supporting one another.
