Center for NuLeadership on Human Justice and Healing
Come join us for free cuts by CEE DA BARBER of Lady Janeras Barbershop and food as we talk about health issues that affect Black men in our community with community champions and local health professionals from Brooklyn. This is the first in a series of community engagement events hosted by the Center for NuLeadership in collaboration with NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) Weill Cornell-Medicine's Connecting for Lung Health program.
The Connecting for Lung Health program at NYP-Weill Cornell Medicine is a new program employing local Brooklyn champions known as Citizen Scientists. These champions link community members to free tobacco treatment services as well as navigation to lung cancer screening. The program also offers in-person or virtual talks on lung cancer, smoking, the importance of screening, and other lung health topics.
