Community Clothing Giveaway

First Baptist Church of Crown Heights is actively collecting donations for men, women, and children of all ages, including babies, toddlers, and teens. In these challenging times, the gift of warmth and comfort through clothing can make a significant difference in the lives of many within our community.

We are calling for donations of new or gently used clothes, shoes, sneakers, and coats. For the dignity and comfort of those we serve, we are also accepting donations of new intimate apparel. Accessories that are crucial for the chilly season ahead, like socks, gloves, and more, are also greatly welcomed. Every item donated will directly contribute to easing the daily lives of community members in need, providing not just physical warmth, but also the warmth that comes from knowing that their community cares for them.

Volunteers are the backbone of community initiatives, and in this endeavor, your time and effort can significantly magnify the impact of our collective contribution. Whether it’s helping sort through donations, organizing the collected items, or assisting in the distribution, every helping hand counts. If you are willing and able to volunteer, your support will be invaluable.

For those interested in volunteering, please reach out to Sis. Sandra Black at (646) 637-8037. She will be coordinating the volunteer efforts and would be glad to provide you with more information on how you can assist.

This is a call to the heart of the community. Let’s embrace the spirit of giving and compassion, coming together to support those among us who can benefit from these donations. In these efforts, we aren’t just providing material support, but are also weaving a stronger and more caring community fabric where every member feels supported and valued. Join us in making a tangible difference in the lives of our fellow community members. Your donations and volunteer support are eagerly awaited and deeply appreciated!
